Be sure to check out the 30-mile paved Interurban Trail that spans the entire length of Ozaukee County—perfect for cycling, walking, jogging, cross-country skiing, and bird watching. The route connects our historic downtown with beautiful natural landscapes, including hardwood woodlands, wetlands, farmlands, Cedar Creek, the Milwaukee River, and Lake Michigan. Lime Kiln Park and Veterans Memorial Park are great spots for fishing or launching a kayak on the Milwaukee River, and a convenient self-service kayak station at Veterans Memorial Park makes it easy to get out on the water.
