A Community that Plays Together, Stays Together
We offer a full-service Parks and Recreation Department with 30 parks and open space areas encompassing 145 acres. Each of these locations serve their own special purpose in the community. There are three seasonal picnic shelters and one year-round facility available for rent. Other park amenities include playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, disc golf, ball diamonds and soccer fields.
The Parks and Recreation Department oversees the Grafton Family Aquatic Center, the Multi-Purpose Senior Center and provides over 50 youth, adult and senior citizen programs to meet all the recreational needs of our community.
Grafton is also located at the halfway point of the Interurban Trail, which is a 30-mile paved trail allowing users to traverse our community year-round by biking, walking, running, inline skating and cross-country skiing.
